A New La Liga Hielo Season has started – still without Nordic Vikings Team but Barca is back…
In the weekend the La Liga Hielo season started – This year it is 9 Teams in La Liga and with Barca back it is growing also without Nordic Vikings. The new Teams are another from Madrid, that will play some games in Hortaleza – However it will might be some more games there this season. You also have a new Team from Andorra and the most important is that “Barca” is back. So three new Teams, but that also meant Huarte (Pamplona) do not play Seniors this year…
When looking at the quality on the senior side, it is to early to judge in the beginning of the season. However if you look at Majadahondas, win against last years Champions – Puigcerda 5-2 in the first weekend you might get a clue what is going to happen as it looks now. I think the top teams will be more balanced this year with the best players distributed in another way. I have the feeling that last years favourites will be more levelled this year. I have Jaca as a favourite, Majadahonda with Nordic Vikings John Wedin and Puigcerda as runner ups, and might Txuri Hurdin will also be there as a stronger contender to top 4 this year. However everything could be Turned Around when “Barca” show their Rooster to this weekend…
Going to Barca with Petri Liimatainen as a new coach – It will put one of most experienced Player and Coach, ever in la liga, as the lead of of the rebuild of the Team and Club – Barca has not show their rooster yet – However some of the Players who has been out on loans seems ti be back so their level will be as exciting to follow as their new Arena Construction Schedule. When will it be ready ?
Porto will probably add good games as ususal – due to the hard start against Txuri with two losses. It seems Txuri is in better shape this year with some players picked up from Huarte and Bipolo but also some new import players. Logrono still hanging in their and we will see what Andorra do after the ruff start against Jaca.
