Our old Homepage Has done a Great Great Work during the Years – and we will thank and honor it by telling the Story of the Two Front Figures from 2005 Erik Zachrisson and Zhang Weyang… “The joke we had about them was always “who was the model and who was the player” as both players could add both on and off ice… who always is important…
Erik Zachrisson – was a little bit of the Social Heart in Nordic Vikings and today he has the same Role for All Swedish Ice Hockey Players as the General Secretary in SICO – I think you all should attend it… Yes he also did some modelling and we can tell he was appreciated by many girls in China. Later he also wrote a TV Opera concept that he sold to a famous TV Station…
Zhang Weyang – Was also a real Entertainer that could play Guitar and do Music for us… Many Vikings Legends still remember an evening when he entertained the whole team and we were on top of the Asia League and everyone was happy, so happy that also some of the Chinese Leaders looked to deep. Weyang later became Captain for the Chinese National Team for many years – And he actually played a last game for Nordic Vikings during a Tour in China in our 10 years anniversary 2015, when we won two games over China National Team. He really did it in style in the first game with a “Gordie Howe Hattrick” … First an assist, then the game winning goal to 5-3, before getting a game misconduct – and it might was the last time I saw him…As with the Homepage now..
