Majadahonda vs Jaca in La Liga Hielo Saturday 19th October 22.00 in La Nevera – Is the re game of the La Liga Final from 2024… The Game on Saturday against Jaca starts 22.00 in La Nevera in Majadahonda Madrid – It will be possible to follow it on Youtube. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dgXWYe7SmcQ
I think the re game of the final will give some early signs where the season is headed and be very Interested to follow. So far Puigcerda has started best in La Liga, and Jaca has also been there. Majadahonda have had a mix of results so far so it is time for them to step up now…
One question before the game is if Arkaitx “El Matador” Edgren Corral is ready for Comeback ? After years with injuries Arkaitx will do his first team practise with Majadahonda on Friday and we will get a first sign of he is fit enough to play on Saturday. However – I think it will be an exciting game and hopefully we will see also Arkaitx, but this is the Majadahonda Coach Fernandos decision. Anyway I will be live in the Arena on Saturday for a game first time since 2022, so please join if you can…I will be there from 21.00 in the Bar…
Best Perka…
The Story of El Matador has some moments. He was born by Mercedes from San Sebastian with a father who was a quite good cyclist. Pär Edgren owned “The one hour record in cycling” in Sweden for almost 30 year before Magnus Bäckstedt the former “Paris Robaix” winner finally broke it. However Arkaitx started playing hockey as a young kid – often playing with older players and when he was 16 years old I took him to Hammarby in Swedish Division 1 at that time. In Hammarby he did a quite good season and played almost all games in the Series with good stats. He then thought he still needed to play Juniors on the highest level and moved to Rögle J20 Super Elite to play. There was paired with Timothy Liljegren, today NHL Player in Toronto Maple Leafs. It became a rocky year for both players as the Rögle J20 did not performed well as expectations. Arkaitx went to Norway to play for 2 Years before coming back to Swedish DIV 1 in Strömsbro – Then the Injuries started to come into the game for him.
As a player Arkaitx has good skills in skating and puck handling with a good shoot. He is a righty with good stamina and is a quite big defenseman. He could both play more the defensive game as well as adding points to his team. During the time he has been off from games he has educated himself in Sport at the University of Gothenburg, and developed an off ice tool for increasing playing understanding. He has also practice some Speed Skating, between Injuries and Surgerys and the last couple of month he has been able to be on Ice and practice Ice Hockey again.
