Happy New Year and Champagne Hockey in El Classico …. when Julian Edström again won the game when Vikings lost an open and even game with 4-7 against Barcelona…
“Well in this game I think the Forwards and the Audience was Happy, actually the score could have been 20-20 and more of a Handboll Game if not the Goalies in both team had been so Good as the Defence on both sides still was on Holiday – However the game was wide open and quite clean, so even if I am not happy with some parts in our game I would say I am Happy for the Hockey in Spain” …
Going down in details – With the Ruff Start playing off 3 penalties in the first 10 minutes, I think we should have been happy to come out 1-2 after first.. but all this penalties was not according to plan… In second I think we gave away the game to easy 1-3 was a little bit sloppy…but after that came the moment that everyone thought we scored 2-3, I have not seen the film yet but it seems that we scored the goal.. and it had been good to see the film on that directly. However after that our play was not according to plan and was wide open and it became 1-5, with another sloppy goals…before the new player Aki Virtanen(not Erik Karlsson) did 2-5 on his own… In the third we changed a little bit in the lines to give it a fair chance and suddenly we was back to 4-5. We also had some wide open chances to 5-5… But instead Julian Edström – stepped in and was the regista for 4-6, and after that the became a little bit a dead game and the final 4-7 goal was just for the protocol… Around Julian we also gave Rubio a great evening tonight…
And as said I think the Audience liked the game better than the Coaches, today… And finally thanks to Barcelona that due to some problems with their Bus, came to play good and clean Ice Hockey…
