The Kosner Huarte Team from Pamplona is a young Team who have impressed in the League this season by winning against both Los Vikingos and Majadahonda. Then they also won the derby against Millenio from Logrono, so they are currently before Vikings in the standings with one point, which was a little bit over my expectations.
However they are a young Team, and their coach “Popi” who also have played for Majadahonda ( in their first season in the Spanish League) but has the main background from Jaca, has done a great work with the Team and balanced the young energy into a more composed team. The Team is built from Junior Players from many places in Spain and is a great project for Spanish Ice Hockey.
I think they already early in the season actually played quite smart against us in both games with two different tactics. In in the first game in Pamplona they came out with full speed and attack, and it was just a good day by our goalie Oscar Lööf who made the difference in the first game. In the second they came out more balanced and used our speed but here I think they were a little bit lucky to win the game in the end, as we should have killed it of before they got the winner in the third. However Hockey is Hockey and if you do not take your opportunities sometimes you could lose a game…
But now It is the Final Game between the Teams this season and I can assure you that both Teams will come out with full energy and 100 % Attitude… It will be exciting….
