This weekend as a step in the Chinese Competence Package Nordic Vikings exchanged players and played a demonstration game in Beijing.
The Nordic Vikings Team was represented by, Sports Director Shin Yahata Larsson, Johan Kleis, representing HK Investment, Erik Zachrisson and Fredrik Näsvall who will play for Nordic Vikings next season. On the trip also the Nordic Vikings Players who will play for Harbin. Niclas Blomqvist, Sebastian Du Rietz and Stefan Linden, the group was complemented with Urban Blomqvist as a coach, and he will cover for Jari Koskinen the first 3 weeks in Harbin. We also had the Qigihaer Group lead by Coach Anders Westerlund and with Fredrik Engman, Andre Westerlund, Kristoffer Karlsson and Stefan Knutsson
Harbin delivered Zhang Weyang, Wang Dakai and Su Zingguo together with Leader…. And Qiqihaer delivered player Loi Liang, Sun Chao and Chen Wei together with Leader Liu Junming.
In the demonstration game – The China Combination Team (The Name of the Nordic Vikings Team in China) lost to the Harbin Asia League Team with 1-5… However the Nordic Participants in the game won their game with 1-0 and GM Per-Erik Holmström said after worlds ” Well It still a lot to do before the League will start”
