Niclas Larssons overtime goal decided “El Classico” Nordic Vikings vs FC Barcelona 2-3 (1-0),(0-1)(1-1)(0-1)
The Nordic Vikings Team came out with an inspired first period and took the lead with 1-0, by Edwin Lindström assisted by Andreas Eklund – In this period it could have been at least one more goals on all chances created in PP especially after Iker Meyerssons 2+2 penalty for checking from behind. In the second Barca equalized in sequence when both teams started to get long, and a hesitation in a change led to the equalizer. Vikings came out with a lot of energy in the third with some changes – but did not manage to score… Then the Referee Drago totally took over the situation, with a lot of strange calls…. Niclas Larsson did 2-1 in something that look liked Offside, but after that a furios Nordic Vikings Team forced in 2-2, by Andreas Andersson, assisted by Filip Lindblom and Robert Alvarez just before the end and it took the game to overtime. In the overtime Nordic Vikings dominated the game totally – but this was Niclas Larssons day, when he took the opportunity on another change hesitation…
