Per-Erik Holmström Nordic Vikings says ” If we not just look at the Ice Hockey development and also look at the total Interest for “Hockey” on the Spanish and Latin American kontinent it is easy to see it grow. Ice Hockey and Roller Hockey – has been there for quite a long time with Spanish Ice Hockey almost 100 years now. Since FIRS – Federation of International Roller Sports – also Included Inline Hockey – the Inline Hockey have helped to Increase the total Interest for Hockey and Ice Hockey. In these countries the Ice Hockey development often comes down to the cost to produce Ice, that could kill a lot of the initiatives. However even if the cost to produce Rink Projects still is high in the investment phase – the good thing is that the running cost could be cut from 200.000 to 40.000 Euro, with the new techniques like Sun Cells and also better and more effective solutions to store the Day Energi Production to be used around the Clock – so the dream to skate on real ice for people in warmer regions seems to be solved in not that long time frame. However it will still take some time, and years, but as we did in China someone have to start – and therefore we initiated this project that links all the strength together”
